1. Information only
News, figures, charts and guides on this site are general information. They are not investment, legal, veterinary, tax or land-title advice. Figures come from the public sources named beside them, may be revised, and are not updated in real time.
2. The marketplace is not an offer
Nothing in the marketplace is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy. Listings are described using information supplied by the people offering them. Our checks, described on the marketplace page, are limited and are not a warranty of ownership, health, quality, quantity, title or value.
3. Do your own checks
Before any money changes hands, see what you are buying, confirm ownership, movement permits and land title with the relevant authorities, and take independent advice. Our guides set out the checks.
4. Listing something
- You confirm that you own what you are offering or are authorised to offer it, and that what you send is accurate.
- You allow us to review the information and, if we list it, to publish the listing on the site.
- Listings appear straight away and are shown with the contact details you give. You are responsible for what you post.
- We do not accept listings for pigs, pork or pork products, tobacco or tobacco products, stolen or unlicensed goods, animals you have no right to sell, or anything misleading.
- We may decline, edit, suspend or remove any listing at any time.
5. Our responsibility
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but cannot promise it is complete, current or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on the site, from dealings between buyers and sellers, or from third-party websites we link to.
6. Privacy and changes
How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy notice. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed.
